I’m Dan O’Rourke, an attorney in the Chicagoland area. Over the last few years I’ve watched as labor unions have become more active and successful in America. They’ve unionized an Amazon warehouse, unionized and begun negotiating with Starbucks, and won increased pay and better benefits for autoworkers and UPS delivery drivers. These stories have inspired me to get more involved with the labor movement. I’ve seen how they can improve the lives of their members and would like to help them continue to do so. I intend for this website to serve double duty as both an opportunity for me to research and write about a topic that interests me and as a resource for anyone who is curious about labor law.
